Vintage MEISSEN "Roses" tableware, teacup & saucer set of 8, 9 3/8 inches plates and 6 inches plates, 27 pcs,made in Germany, ca. 1852-1870

Vintage MEISSEN "Roses" tableware, teacup and saucer set of 8, diner plates, and butter plates. 27 pcs., made in Germany, ca. 1852-1870, were decorated by the famous "Meissen Rose", one of the most popular decorations from the house of Meissen. The "Meissen Rose" first blossomed in the Biedermeier period and has since become one of the most prominent decors, noble tableware, hand-painted and precisely crafted, has been adorned by magnificent flowers ever since.

This lot ( 27 pieces) consists of:

6 x dinner plates, 9 3/8 inches in diameter
5 x bread plates, 6 inches in diameter
8 x teacups, scalloped edge, 3 3/4 inches in diameter, 2 inches in height
8 x tea saucers, scalloped edge, 5 3/4 inches in diameter

- All pieces are Messen 2nd choices, with 2 slashes on the blue crossed swords mark
- All are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage, or repairs. The colors are still vibrant!
