Large Herend Fruits & Flowers pattern vase, with basket weave design and 24k accents

Since its introduction in the 1860s this pattern, with its beautiful compositions of fruits and flowers, has been favored by many royal houses. The Imperial Court of Russia ordered a set after its display at the World Exhibition of 1900. Accented with 24k gold, handmade and handpainted porcelain from Hungary.

The underside of the piece bears the blue overglaze Herend shield backstamp reading "HEREND HVNGARY" , and "HANDPAINTED"
