For sale an antique Copeland Imari style serving bowl with tray and 11 soup bowls, gold encrusted. fabulous design and very rare
Copeland "Imari" porcelain soup service, pattern number 2051 (introduced c. 1814) and with impressed date marks "J / 80" for January 1880, and with the Copeland Blue "seal Mark" from the period of 1880-1883, and comprising: 11 soup plates, a rectangular soup tureen, and tray. (13 pieces total)
Measurement:
11 round soup bowls, 9 1/2 inches in diameter, 1.5 inches in height
1 rectangular serving bowl, 13 inches long, 9 inches wide, 4.5 inches high,
1 rectangular tray. 14.5 inches long x 10 3/4 inches wide
In excellent condition, with no chip, repair, crack, crazing, or gold losses. Very light wear due to the age.
