ca.1775 Meissen handpainted purple floral coffee/ tea set, turquoise handle,rare

This is a beautiful Meissen Marcolini period "tete a tete" or coffee service for two, dating from 1756-1775, with the blue underglaze crossed sword and dot mark to the underside. The set is decorated with Kakiemon-style floral decorations in puce with gilt accents to the rims, and turquoise decoration to the handles and lids with rose finials. The set comprises a coffeepot, a teapot, a milk pitcher, and two cups and saucers (7 pieces total). The spout of the coffee pot has a unique design with a shark tooth form, which is not a chip but rather part of the original design. This set is a stunning example of Meissen porcelain from the Marcolini period, and a rare and valuable addition to any collection.

Condition: Each piece is in excellent vintage condition, with no cracks or repairs. The finial on the coffeepot has minor chips, but is still intact.
